Second Art2ride lesson with the two Lipizzaner geldings Nikon and Nemo ❤️
Lene, the owner, has now been working them from the ground for 3 weeks. Nikon and Nemo already seemed to be softer in their topline muscles, they where stretching much more consistently and with better activity.

Nikon, the first horse in the pictures had changed a lot. The first time I worked with him he was so easily distracted. Now he’s much more focused. He seems to be so happy that the work we are asking of him is something that he can do without feeling discomfort. He was exceptionally good in trot and he knew it.

Nemo has kissing spine, but he was also doing much better than the last time. He still seemed like he wasn’t truly relaxing and letting go of all his tension in his back. We spent some time with work in hand and suddenly all the tension disappeared. His walk became softer and he stretched all the way down. It can be really difficult to achieve this with horses that have been used to being worked even though they’ve been in pain. This was a huge breakthrough for us and Nemo.

I’m really looking forward to seeing them again next time
