What does a strong topline look like?
Let's start by looking at what a strong topline really is. If we start with the neck, it must be widest at the base, ie the shoulder. It must be wide in front of the wither, it will curve upwardly in an arc and end up being narrowest at the poll.
The wither must be wide, a pointed bony wither is a sign of incorrect training or wrong saddle.
